The Volunteer Experience

YOUR Arrival

As you exit Kilimanjaro airport, you will be greeted by one of our representatives holding a Give a Heart to Africa sign. The trip to the school takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the school, you will be given a tour of the volunteer home, and shown your room. The next day, or same day (depending on time of arrival) we will help you navigate obtaining a local phone number, banking, basic grocery supplies, and some good places to know in Moshi. We will also get you set up to start your volunteer teaching. More questions? Contact us!
