Moshi Mama's

Arts and Crafts

Co-Operative

In partnership with G Adventures and Planeterra, Give a Heart To Africa opened up Women’s Arts & Crafts Co-operative in May, 2014.  It is a place where former graduates find employment and practice their vocational and business skills.

Kili Kitchen

Kili Kitchen has evolved over several years. It first started as a kiosk serving fresh mango juice, and lunches in Uhuru Park. Now, the ladies of Kili Kitchen provide delicious lunchboxes, and lunch time snacks from their little kitchen just a short walk away from GHTA.

Lala Salama Spa

Lala Salama Spa is owned and operated by Lisa, a graduate of GHTA. Many of her staff are also GHTA graduates and part of the spa's proceeds go to support GHTA's Women's programs.

Lala Salama spa works with several safari companies including G Adventures, whose Kilimanjaro climbers and safari clients visit the spa. Via the spa's services they donate vital funds to Give a Heart to Africa.

There are many other individual success stories which include students who have gone on to further their education, start their own businesses, improve their current businesses, and obtain gainful employment with the new skills they gained at GHTA. Curious about our impact? Come volunteer with us!
